my laptop dose not start without pluging in charger

i have hp elitebook 2560p . my laptop dose not start without connecting charger.. but when it start and i plug out charger my battery give me minimum 2 hours without any trouble. my battery light start blinking few days back. from now on my laptop dose not start without charger.. my battery light blinks even i start my pc.. continues blinking.. any help..??

Sounds like the battery is going to need to be replaced. Not putting out enough power to start the device is a common sign of the battery going.
