My laptop has turned verticle on the screen How do I change it back to normal?

I was uploading some photos onto my netbook when it all just suddenly turned sideways. I tried to change internet explorer back round, but only the photos turned! Please help as soon as possible.
My netbook type is an ACER ASPIRE one
