my laptop is telling no bootable device,

i aslo changed my boot settings and mode but isnt working its . everytime its says no bootable device , when i insert linux boot pd then its work.

Well it could just be a corrupt operating system or the hard drives gone faulty. What is the make and model please and ill try and help you more?
