My laptop isn't booting. It just switches on and goes off after few seconds. What could be the issues?

It was working fine few hours ago until I shut it down. After that, it doesn't boot up. No sound, no noise of anything is there. Only an led switches on, which, after about 10 seconds just switches off. What can be the problem. I have tried hard reset method (holding power button for about a dozen of seconds, replacing battery), but all in vain. Please any help!?!

Moreover, I had dual os on my system. Linux+Windows.

Have you tried connecting it to mains power with the adapter?

Yeah, I have tried that also. No success!!!

Internal electrical fault most likely - - you can't fix that yourself. Needs a trained laptop repairer at a PC repair shop.

Ask for an estimate before they repair it as it may not be cost-effective, in which case it's better to buy a new laptop.
