My laptop screen resoloution has lowered

Hi, originally it was 1600 x 900

Now its 1024 x

Could it be a driver has been removed or corrupted and needs to be re installed ???

Very possibly. Re-install the graphics driver then see if you can adjust the res to what it should be. You can download the driver from your laptop manufacturer's website, in the support section.

First check the setting and make sure you didn't change it by accident. I had that happen on a desktop and it was the graphics card that was bad.
