my laptop usually connects to my wifi network but out of no where when i go to the wifi settings to connect our wifi name isnt even coming up it just says something about connecting to broadband, idk what to do

Insure that your wireless radio is broadcasting the SSID -- check on another computer.

Then check to see that your wireless is enabled with the correct key combination. It is often Fn key plus either F2 or F3 depending on the brand, and a few still have manual switches.

Next check in the device manager to see if it appears there and says that it is working correctly.

Last check to see that it is enabled in the bios.
