My laptop's battery is dead and it is not starting. How to restart it?

My lenevo g500 laptop's battery is dead and it is not starting and also when I start it by providing direct electricity, it is also not booting and only showing lenevo

Have you tried removing the dead battery and then starting it from the outlet power? Dead batteries can leech enough power to keep a laptop from starting.
