Solved! My Lenovo yoga S940 Randomly freezes then goes back to normal.

Its only 5 months old but I have no idea why it does this. Its random too.

5 months? should still in warranty, contact lenovo.

Agree. Looks like LED row drivers are somehow going nuts. Have you noticed any difference if you change the angle on how far the display is opened up? Also try (gently!) twisting and pressing on the display screen. I also think it should be covered under warrenty and go back to the factory. My experience in the past (although not with Lenovo is the the HD will come back with all your data erased. Do a backup first.
