i was on my phone til it turned off bc usually i can still use it on0 if its plugged. i let it die and i plugged it up it said need to charge more so i went to sleep. the next day i woke up to check my snapchat and the thing woudlnt turn on. i charged it for an hour nothing. so i left it on the charge all day never going to look at it. its been 3 days now and that means its been charging for near 72 hours and still nothing. last night i was tinkering with it and took the battery out still on the charger. the missing battery symbol popped up a few times. i was so excited i popped the battery back in and tried turning it on. nothing. a near 3 days and still no response. i can not buy a new battery. please help. im 3 hours from home a near 10 hours of walking. i have no other way of quick communication. i am 14. thank you

Well, there are other steps to try, other than just pulling the battery.. NOTE: Yes, I know some phone batteries are not so easy to get to, on some devices. In such a case, make sure that your phone is not under warranty still before you try opening it up yourself. If it is under warranty, then contact the manufacturer first.

Try the following and see if it will turn on.

1. Remove the battery.
2. Press and hold the "Power" button for 20 seconds.
3. Now put the battery back in.
4. Plug it in to charge and allow it to fully charge before turning it on.

If this doesn't help, then test the charger cord to see if it is good. Either try your cord in another device, or try another devices cord on your device.

Should that not be the problem, then check the battery to see if it needs replacing.

If you still can't get it working, and if it isn't under warranty, then I would try a local tech.
