Hi, if your power light is on, sometime you have a burnt fuse.

Hi, are there any other symptoms? How old is the TV? In my experience with DLP projection TV's a black screen means the the lamp or bulb as it's also know as has burned. They are usually easy to replace and are not that expensive.

I did push the on button this morning it had a sound now I can't turn up the volume
