If this remote is not the one that came with your new TV then it may not have all the same IR codes as the remote that comes with that model Westinghouse TV.
If it is the one that came with the TV then the remote or the TV may be at fault. Contact the seller. If you can get another of the same remote you would be able to confirm where the problem is.
