Solved! My new zte model # z799vl is flashing white, I can't turn it on it off, help

Zte flashing white. Will not turn on or off

Almost all cell phones will reset or power off if you continue holding the power button for up to 30 seconds. Once its shuts down completely then power it back on. Or If possible you might try simply pulling the battery out , wait a few mins, replace battery and power back on.

If it is brand new and doing this, I would return it and have it exchanged for a working device. If past that point (can't return) then contact the manufacturer. No new device should give such problems.
