my pc won't let me import photos from my camera

my pc won't let me import photos from my camera (nikon L820). i select the photos i want to import, and then my laptop just says 'sorry an error has occured. please try again later.' i tried waiting and coming back, but it still doesn't work. any help?

If you couldn't figure it out try to use another computer or wire. Simple things like that can always mess things up. Also try to use another USB port in your PC.
