My phone wont turn on

Hello,
i have a Nokia 5230 Nuron and i drop it in the water but it worked after i did everything so a few days later i turned it off and now it wont turn on what do i do

Try a new battery, if that does not work, new phone time. I'm thinking some contacts got corroded over time due to water damage which is why it worked OK for a bit, much like rust accumulating over time.

Good advice. I would have never thought of using rice.

This is good for drying it, except the guy already was using it for a few days. I figure all the wetness will be gone by now and the issue is with corrosion or a fried contact somewere.

Still good to know for others out there who suffer a similar issue and have the time to give the rice suggestion a try.
