My Samsung 4K tv is picking up air channels but why can’t I view them?

I hooked up a cheap hd antenna and scanned for channels, the tv picked up 11 channels n it shows them in the guide but I can’t actually view them. What should I do?

Signal may be too weak. Depending on how far you are from transmitter, you may just need a better antenna.

Your TV may also be a problem. Digital television transition in the United States went into effect on June 12, 2009, with stations ending regular programming on their analog signals no later than 11:59 PM local time that day. So your analog TV may need a different tuner.

What happens when you try? Did you change the input?

It's not unusual for channels found while scanning to not come in or at least not reliably. Try reorienting the antenna and scanning again. Try a better antenna. The higher the antenna the better.
