when recharging the recharging symbol doesnt show, as if there is power getting to the phine, the recharger is good, the plug os good, and the phone turned on when i changed the battery, but once the new battery is empty the phone didnt rechareged or accept power

Sounds like the charging/USB port is broken. Take it into a local repair shop and have them give you a quote for how much it'd cost to have fixed.

This is also the issue with my phone at the moment, which I'm debating on just replacing entirely. I have to plug in the charger then position it just right or the phone won't detect that it's plugged in. Can't even use it while it's charging.

Cheaper than fixing connection on phone (unless they will do under warranty) would be to use an external battery charger.
