My SD Card Not Recognized

My LG P509 Android Smartphone's SD Card won't work. I didn't drop it or the SD card ever in my life. This happened out of nowhere when listening to music. Message appeared and said SD Card Removed. Please insert a new one. Help please?

It's been a week and no replies. I really need this fixed as it is my dad's phone.

Has your SD card worked well before? How old is it and what brand? I'd suggest inserting another card into the phone and that SD card in another phone so you can confirm if it's because of the card and not the phone. My dad had a similar problem with his SD card on a Samsung Galaxy S. I gave him my Sony card and ever since he had no problems. Keep in mind that cheap cards don't last very much.

2 things to do, try another sd card in the phone, and try that sd card in another phone so you know if its a phone or sd card problem. try wiping off and reaseating the card if you havn't yet

C'mon Anyone i really need help its been like that since Xmas,Some of my apps don't work,cant take photo's and lots of other things please help!!!!!
