My sharp liquid crystal tv lc42sb48ut TV won't power on or respond period only red light which doesn't do anything

My TV light only stays red it won't power on

Per usual, if the TV is older than 3-4 maybe 5 years and in constant use, the board that provides power to all components has capacitors which can go bad, and usually they are very replacable.
Try to ask in local repair shop to inspect it if it has bad capacitors.
