Solved! My smart tv can I use a universal remote for it

My smart tv remote won't connect with the tv, so I wanted to know can I use a universal remote

Don't see why not, although some of the smart TVs have a few buttons that may not work well. For example the "home" button on my LG TV did not work with a few universal remotes I tried it with.
