My sound isn't coming through on my dell, the mute isn't on and the volume us all the way on! HELP

My sound won't go through and I can't hear my music. I have a DELL and its brand new, I just got it a month ago. The sound was working fine two days ago I'm just wondering what could have happened.

Looks like you may have a faulty audio card...You need to have it checked out.

You don't have an audio card in a laptop.
To the OP, check if you don't mute the sound with a Fn key.
