my tab 3 used to take about an hour to fully charge up plugged into the mains .Its beeen on charge now for 2 days and only up

Are you using a wall charger? It sounds like you arent getting enough power from the source. Try charging it in a different spot. And also try another charger. Make sure the phone stays off.
