My tablet batery is empty, but when I plug it into the charger, in just flashes the start up screen, without turning on

As said, i had my tablet on and was reading, when it turned off do to empty battery (i had already noticed it was getting empty), i plugged it into the charger, but it wouldn't start up, it would only flash the beginning screen again and again. The tablet is a two year old modecom, can anyone help me, or is it a lost cause?

Hello,

When the battery is fully empty... you must wait a while. The battery needs a few minutes to take charge and boot up the tablet.
