My tablet not read the SIM card

My Lenovo A3500 tablet not read the SIM card.l do not know what to do to solve the problem

The carrier/service provider you got the SIM card through, does it have the same type of service that your tablet works on? (GSM or CDMA)? Also, is your tablet capable of even having a SIM. Some actually are not.
