Does the mouse pointer moves or is it just stuck? What's the operating system that you're using with your laptop? Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then boot it back up and test if it would work or not.
- Next is to try and load it in Safe Mode and see if the same problem will persist or not.
- While the laptop is booting up repeatedly press on F8 until it loads Advanced Boot Options, select Safe Mode and press Enter.
- Once in Safe Mode and it's working normally, do run a complete virus/malware scan.
