My Toshiba Satellite is not starting up some times... fan is continuosly making sound and laptop is not booting.

My Laptop is working fine, sometimes it is not booting/starting up.. when I switch on it is doing nothing, only fan is making sound continuously and nothing happening.
I tried removing the battery and holding the power button for 30 secs all still it is happening the same.
Please suggest me the reason and how to resolve the issue.

Hi,

Please try hooking up an external monitor and see if you'll see any display from it. If it's still the same reset the RAM, remove all the RAM then put them back in properly. Lastly, reset the BIOS setting by removing the CMOS battery then put it back in and see if it starts up. Worst case is the motherboard has gone bad and repair or replacement is needed.
