My Toshiba Satellite laptop will not print with any printer. How do I fix this?

I have a Toshiba Satellite click that I bought in August of 2014. I cannot get it to print anything. My computer will recognize printers, it will even install them, but it tends to show printers as offline and even if I send a document to the printer it will not print it. I have tried to use 3 hp printers and a Canon one. I am at a loss as to what to do. Help me?

I already have uninstalled and re installed the printers, is that different from uninstalling the drivers? I also downloaded the recommended drivers from hp for one of them.

Yeah it sounds like it's a driver issue, or it could also be your router. Maybe you could try and reset your router and PC and see if that works. If it doesn't it's most likely a driver issue.

When you print something, do you print using a cable connected to the printer, or off the internet

Alright, have you uninstalled the drivers?

I think so. I removed all the printers from the device manager.

Ok, download the proper drivers from the HP website. And setup your printer again

What is a router in regards to printer? I only know of internet or wifi routers

A standard home Wifi network consists of these components:

Modem (receives signal from broadcast tower):

Router (connects modem and other peripherals like external hard drives to devices) :

And then of course your laptops and devices like tablets, phones, and Smart TVs. Some networks also have central file storage or what's called NAS (Network Attached Storage) but that's another thing entirely.

I think he knows the basics of the internet, but not how the internet can be used for printing.
