My touchpad not working (not mouse nor buttons) yet the mouse is visible , acer notebook aspire v5-131

Out of the sudden touchpd stopped responding though the mouse is visible on the screen , i restarted the laptop and removed the battary and i dounno what to do now , its a new laptop and the pad is clean

For a new laptop, contact their support, they will likely have you ship it in to get the touchpad replaced.
