Solved! My tv set has menu volume buttons but when I touch them nothing happens I can't operate the tv from the tv

you could get a new remote, no? universal ones even. also, I would get it fixed if that is less than 1/4 of the price of a new Television. what is the make and model of the TV?

Then u have bad TV (duh!) Can't remote, can't button, there is no magic dude.
