My TV won't go pass the welcome screen

Solution
I would say replace it, TV's aren't terribly expensive anymore, at least some of them. If you repair it, I'm willing to bet you'll be in a similar spot another 6 months down the road. I've heard people having luck with Samsung and Sony, but Samsung has great technical support/repair service as well.
What kind of TV is it, LCD or plasma? If you can't access any menu settings or anything like that, it's possible your screen may have been "burned-in" but it seems unlikely that it would be to this image. It might be best to contact your TV manufacturer for further help.

It's a Mitsubishi 65 inch. About a year ago, it blew out do to some electrical work that was being done in the house. I asked them to replace it, instead, they chose to repair it and gave me a six (6) month warranty. Guess what. ..time's up. I sort of knew that this would happen. So, with that being said, do you think I should replace or repair it?
