My Voyager II tablet did an Android update and now absolutely no sound, not from headphones or speaker. Help

Solution
Hmm... Try starting up the tablet in "Safe Mode" and see if you get any sounds. Granted app access will be limited, but you should be able to test for sounds.

To get into "Safe Mode" please do the following.

1. First turn off the tablet.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If you wanted disable it, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe Mode: OFF" rather than on.
Have you restarted the device?

Also was it an 'update' as in it was found in your "Settings" as offered by the manufacturer, or did you add the newer version another way?

it was an automatic update for andriod as soon as i turned the tablet on

Is it all sound, like when you play a video or music? Does any sound of any kind work?

It seems rather odd that an update would cause it. Unless it wasn't a standard update. Have you checked the device for viruses and malware?

no sound at all. period. run virus scan and update, and still nothing
