my windows8 dell keyboard has been locked

how to unlock my keyboard? the problem is it is functìoning when i type the password to access my accöunt and when i go into it the keyboard is not working.

which one specifically? Could be that you just accidentally turned off the keyboard. Many laptops have a button to do so. Or see if NUM LOCK is pressed. Though an older issue, it can effect some computers.

last night i was on my laptop i guess i press a couple of keys but then my laptop stopped working i dont know what i did but my laptop cant type any more is there a key that i cant press to make it work again i think this was some kind of screw up i didnt mean to do. what should i do? please help me

my wife's toshiba did the same thing. i restored it to previous point in windows. goto settings to do this
