N55SL laptop not powering on black screen

N55SL ASUS laptop not powering on, at all, even when fully charged for hours and battery indicator is showing green. Can someone help what the issue /fault is with this laptop?

Yes that's right, no display on the screen.

Try to connect an external monitor and see if there's any displays. Yes, then you need to replace your screen or screen cable.

If there's no displays it means it's not screen problems.
You may try to remove memory and watch CAPS light, if the light is not flashing means you need to replace CPU and if it's flashing, you need to reassemble the memory, make sure it's well installed, if possible, you can replace the memory.
And if all the above didn't solve your problem, you need to replace the motherboard.

Yes after checking further it's not screen problem, the memory is working fine as the light is always showing on when switched on. I believe the issue is water damage as some water did get inside the laptop, this seems to have caused the issue of laptop not switching on at all. Thanks for advice though.
