N64 to Vizio LED TV

I hooked up my N64 with my favorite game, Super Mario 64, and it wouldn't show video, but the game audio works fine. It's plugged into the front of an old VCR/DVD player, just like our Wii is. It makes me wonder if it's the cord we have. We've got so many AV Cords in the pasts, it's not even funny. I'm thinking it might be the cord. Please Help!

Thanks. We did order a new cord, but could the TV not get the cord's signal because the N64 is to old? Sorry, I didn't realize I put two threads. Thanks for telling me!

The TV does not care if your RCA device is 6 years old or 20 years old. The data format going across the cable is exactly the same.
