NDis2 Driver

Hi,Firstly I'm Rebecca from Australia and I know absolutely NOTHING about computers so please just laugh quietly at my questions.I have lots of problems with my pc so I hope you don't mind if I bombard you all with questions.First problem,I was looking through the Device Manager and found that the "Existing NDis2 Driver" has an exclamation mark which I know means theres a problem,I downloaded the driver and did everything that it said but it was still there when I rebooted my pc,is this driver important?

using that I found this, which may help if you don't have a network card that requires the driver.

Hey fellow auzzie.
If you could possibly tell us more info about this "Ndis2" driver we could help you.

It sounds like a nivida display driver... If your windows display ok? (lots of colours, high resolution?)

You probably have to download new drivers for it off the internet, so it helps to know what Ndis2 is HAHA.

Yeah. i too just did a goodle search. It seems NDis2 refers to a Ethernet card Driver.

Thanks for your replies,
My display is fine,colour,resolution....This driver can't really be important if its not doing anything? So thats 1 mystery that will go unsolved.
Next problem...Word doesn't open anymore,I get an error message saying "couldn't create an empty document".I was told that my pc may have a virus (nimda I think),they gave me a link to a microsoft page which had a fix.I downloaded it,and guess what,my pc freezes everytime I try to run it!! It hasn't really affected my pc other than make it slow and stuff up word.
another problem...
I just bought a CD burner and Nero software,installed the burner and connected it correctly ( I think),but the software won't install,I get an error message saying "error 2889,LicenseAgreement,Memo",I would understand getting this message if I didn't agree to to the license requirments but I didn't even get to the license agreement page!.AHHHH.
I have emailed Nero 3 times but they don't want to respond.
I think it's time to take my computer on a nice long drive out to the countryside...lol.

Please help me.

ahhh. Well first i would seriously get an uptodate virus checker and scour your computer for problems.

Then if lots of problems persist, i would do a windows reinstall.
