Need a new laptop for work, recommendations would be appreciated greatly!

I'm needing a new laptop for work, my job allows scheduling flexibility, so I can work from the office, home, etc, basically wherever I can connect to the network. Im looking for recommendations on a new, good quality laptop. I don't want to spend over $1000, so best bang for the buck would be fine.

It'll be used for basic office work, nothing demanding (spreadsheets, billing/medical coding software, etc.). It doesn't need to be a hardcore gaming laptop, but I would at least like to be able to run some older steam games I enjoy when I'm bored, like Age of Empires 1 & 2, Age of Mythology, maybe some of the older Final Fantasy games, Torchlight, etc. All of these games run flawlessly on my Dell work PC (no dedicated gpu, and an i3 cpu) so I mainly want something that runs fast for office work, has decent storage, is wireless and will last for a few years (light/moderate use), can play those few older games and Netflix, etc.

17" monitor would be ideal, but I'd settle for 15" if the price is good.
