Need a PC for VR

Hello,

In the simplest way possible i am looking to build or buy a pc for VR. The VR I hope to be doing is sim racing and in the future i may want to branch out if there are any good options. I want it to be as cheap as possible but powerful enough to handle VR. I have never built a pc before which is why i am asking on here. I know the basic items e.g. processor, motherboard, ram, coolers, ssd ect. but i have no idea how powerful all these items would be when put together. I feel that with youtube tutorials i could easily put it together so no worries about that.

All depends on your maximum budget, the VR headset (Vive or rift) will cost a reasonable amount by itself ( much more in some parts of the world than others)
