need a serious multi tasking laptop

My son really pushes his laptop and I've just discovered an MSI with 2 graphics cards but only an i5, is this a good idea or shd I go for a higher processor rather than the two cards? Also he doesn't need the dvd, I'd rather have a 2nd hard drive and usually that will void the warranty.

We'd need to know what he needs it for. He might be the best person to pick it out.

Unless it absolutely needs to be moved, a desktop is usually far faster for the price than a laptop. Even if it does need to be moved around, you might find that a desktop plus something like a Chromebook is a good idea.
