I'm very new to wireless networking, and I want to set up a wireless
network. I have TiVo Series 2, and I have cable TV. Which routers work
best with TiVo? Thanks.

I am using a Linksys WRT54Gs which works very well.

I believe that Tivos only work with 802.11b so there really is no need to
get an 802.11g (54Mbps speed) capable router if you don't need it for
something else. On the other hand, I am sure Tivo will eventually support
802.11g and you can get one for about $50 so why not?

Cheers

There's a Belkin router for sale through dealnews.com for $20 at
MegaMacs.com. I have a Belkin router (though not this model) and it
works great.

I use a Netgear WG602. It's a 802.11g for my other computers and
laptops, but works well with both my TIVO's (one on first floor and one
on 3rd floor next to router). I bought Netgear WG111 USB wireless
adapters that are 802.11g, that work great at 802.11b speeds now and
when TIVO moves to 802.11g, i'm set. www.buy.com sells them pretty
cheap. fyi.
