Need advise on whether to change processor from celeron to i5 processor

***This is my current setup of my laptop***
DELL INSPRION 1545
HD: 150GB
MEMORY: 3GB
PROCESSOR: INTEL(R) 2.16GHZ (Celeron)
32BIT OS

if i upgrade my ram 6-8gb, 64bit OS, and i5 processor would it help?

Cause i do alot of software, and graphic development projects. Lately i have experience that my laptop is travelling at snail pace, and im unable to multi-task.

2) im also experiencing difficulty with the keyboard, i recently replaced it but it seem to me it was not helpful.

When i type in a key it will repeat it self non-stop until i double press on that key.


It would be much appreciated if you could help me solve this problem.

Yes it would help but it also depends on what type of i5
that could be a connection problem between the mainboard and the keyboard

I thought of using this processor
Intel Core i5 4670K 3.5 GHz Processor

What do you think?

Ahh the devils canyon! I believe is a great choice. Great for all including multitasking, gaming and graphic design and development in your case.
Although you may want to look at upgrading your ram also. I would think maybe another 2-4 gb would do the trick!

I checked yesterday, and i asked a few people about it. They say it cannot be done. So i have dropped the idea of repairing my laptop.
