Need An (Affordable?) High Performance School and Gaming Laptop

Hi- so I need a laptop that will work well and fast for regular browsing, daily activities, work, school, videos, etc. yet will hold up under some casual gaming like Sims and Minecraft. I also hope that I could get under (as far under as possible) $1,000. 15 inch would be preferable, with a good amount of memory/ram. Additionally I would prefer that it would be durable but light enough to carry in a school bag. I know it seems impossible but any input would be highly appreciated!
