Need an application to send webcam over network

Hi,

I need a free, preferable portable software that sends web cam image over a network. I searched it on the internet but I couldn't find a free application. The best I found is Netmeeting which is not working properly.
Can anyone suggest anything ?

actually i dont need that kind of chat or meeting application. I just need a software that sends webcam video over network and receives on the other end.

If you need just to share some video to folks you can just to use NFS, and if you want to do this like stream video, than I know that you can do this even with help of Windows Media Player.
