Need Help Buying Laptop

Hello everyone,

I am a student and I'm looking to buy a laptop under 1000$ with the following in mind:

1) Will be used for programming, schoolwork
2) Common Programs: Eclipse IDE, ViritualBox, MS Word, Adobe Photoshop, Google Chrome, Skype and Spotify
3) Needs a decent sized hard drive (1 tera)
4) Size: Around 14 x 9 x 1 (needs to fit iN my backpack)
5) Battery life is really important as well
6) Around or under 1000$

I know this is asking alot and thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out.

The above answer is a good suggestion and I would recommend it as well. But if its too big since its a few inches bigger than what you specified, they do make a slightly smaller 14" version

Look up clevo/sager laptops on xotic pc. They offer good deals. I ordered one on monday 😀
