Hello:
I'm in need of a mobile workstation mostly to use AutoCAD Civil 3D, 3Ds Max Design and some others from the AutoDesk family. Need lower rendering times and high performance while working on several tasks at the same time.
I've been looking at some options but need help deciding.
First of all ,ECC vs non-ECC Ram, I7 or Xeon, Quadro or Gtx. I'm not interested in games but i've seen people with gaming cards and they dont seem to have issues with the softwares at all but Quadro seems more dedicated.
So if anyone could give me a hand choosing a powerful laptop it would be much appreciated.
I'm thinking of building a custom one at Dell but need help with the mentioned above.
This are other options i've seen but please feel free to suggest other ones as i have no preferences for brands.
The MSI WT73VR 7RM
Dont really need the VR Ready but fits my needs.
ACER PREDATOR GX21-71
Looks powerful but again, not interested in games as its going to be used to work.
Money is not an issue.
Thanks!
