Need help choosing laptop! urgent!

Hi guys,

I have a friends birthday coming soon and deciding what laptop to get. We are looking for a laptop with these:

intel i5 processor
4GB Ram (can be more if its cheap)
SSD of any size for better load speed (if there is none hybrid is best)
Slim design is best otherwise any is fine
Under $1000AUD

all other parts are can be whatever.

We are in Australia so it is a lot more expensive than the US. I use staticice.com.au website for price so please help me out!

idk of any SSD but asus A451LB fit ur specs for $699 and then u can replace the HDD with a SSD. i5, 4GB ram, slim design, comes with GT740M 2GB.

Get something like this Asus X550 LA, it's slim, 8 gigs of RAM, an i7 processor, but doesn't have an SSD. SSDs won't be that necessary in laptops unless they are gaming ones, HDDs are getting faster and faster every day

He likes having fast loading speeds and HDD get slower as you fill. I've experienced that when I purchased my older laptop where it was getting so full compared to when I first bought it the loading speed was 10 seconds to now 40 seconds.

Get something like this Asus S550CA. It has a 750GB HDD + a 24GB SSD. It amounts to about $587.91
