Need help connecting old JVC Stereo Receiver to 2010 LG plasma TV.

I am having difficulty connecting my LG tv to my much older JVC receiver. Ive tried every port in every combination between the tv and receiver to no avail. Ive been using an RCA connector. Any advice would be appreciated. Here are a few spec that I got from the back of each device. Ill be happy to share any other information as needed.

LG TV:2010
-Model NO. 50PK540-UE
-Power: AC 100-240~50/60 Hz 3.73 A

JVC Stereo Receiver:
-Model NO. RX-8030VBK
-Power AC 120V~60Hz
-320W
-440 VA
