Solved! Need help finding replacement wires

I've looked for replacement wires with a male input and 2 male audio/mic for my sound blaster x headset. I've looked on ebay for replacement but I cant find one. anyone know where i could get me a replacement?

Are you talking about the cable with a female input and then the dual male connections like in this pic? That looks to be a standard 4 pole to dual 3 pole adapter, can find them in lots of places.

if i get a basic male to male will it work with a 4 pole to dual 3 pole adapter? I'm not sure if both mic and audio will work with a basic male to male

It should work, outside of the headphones having some special wiring. Cable should be about $5, cheap enough to try it. You should be able to get a male 4 pole to dual male 3 pole cable also without needing another adapter.
