Need Help for my Acer Windows 8 Laptop

So, I decided to RESET my acer windows 8 laptop because my Windows Explorer file got damaged so I cant use my Internet Explorer anymore so I thought if I reset it, it would be fixed and I connected my Laptop to the TV using an HDMI (since my laptop screen is cracked and still works if I connect the HDMI) but then when I reseted it, the TV screen went black and it took forever to reset, so then I shutted down my laptop and removed my HDMI. The next day I tried do it again but when I open it, it shuts down, then opens again and repeatedly then I thought there was something wrong now and it always happens like that if I open it...

Try this > Right click desktop > Screen Resolution > Click Identify > Remember which number appeared on the TV screen, and under "Multiple displays" choose "Show desktop only whichever number it showed.
