Need help! Looking for a laptop for video editing/gaming

So I am a newbie, just warning ya haha. I am searching for a great laptop for video editing(YouTube mainly) and gaming(gta v mainly). My budget is a $2000 or lower. At the moment I will more than likely be using the laptop for video editing more but I am very interested in the PC gaming world. I have heard from some to to get a Mac bc it is great with editing and have heard from others to get a gaming laptop bc u get supposedly the best of both worlds. Any suggestions would be amazing, as I am so knew to this that I want to make sure my hard earned money doesn't go to waste. Thanks for any help you can give me.
