need help please!

I have an older tv in my sons room that only has the video and audio port but the DVD player has the yellow, red and white. I have had it hooked up before but I forget how to can someone please help? Plus need to know what channel I need to have it on! Very frustrating just won't my son to be able to watch his movie at night! Thanks

Yellow is for video. Check out this article. If you're still confused, try the remaining 2 plugs one at a time and see what works.

In most cases, you'll use only the white audio connector (left channel) for a mono signal when you don't have both audio connections available on a device. As HFC has said, use the yellow on the cable to yellow on the TV and DVD for video and use the white on the cable for the left (mono) on the DVD and the audio input on the TV.

If your TV doesn't have a TV/Video or input selector button on the Tv or the remote then try tuning below channel 2. On older TVs this sometimes works to get to the video input.
