I jut purchased a Samsung Galaxy A25 5g and I need help fixing some things that are annoying or don't work properly. I had an Android 14 phone before, and it didn't have these problems. If I can't fix these, I'd just like to go back to 14 if it's possible.
  • The long hold feature to uninstall apps on the home screen doesn't stay open long enough to do anything. I have to go into settings to delete apps.
  • I've searched everywhere to find a way to make the status bar larger, but none of the apps work for that, and you can no longer change the minimum width in developer settings. I have vision problems, and cannot see the icons at all, again, have to go into settings to see how much charge I have on my battery, etc.
  • The phone came with Android 14, and I was given 2 free updates. Is there a way to go back to 14? I'm not a power user, I don't game, mostly use my phone for messaging or real phone calls, don't even carry it around with me unless I'm expecting to hear from someone important. If I can't fix these things on my phone, I really would like to just go back. IME waiting for an update to fix things usually doesn't work.
  • TIA

Can you go to settings and just increase text size/icons in accessibility?

You don’t want to go backwards, apps eventually drop support
